Ajmal Nawzid endorses Sarath Fonseka's presidential bid
(December 26, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Ajmal Nawzid, (Who contested the central seat, in the Colombo District, for the Western Provincial Council under the UPFA) in front of hundreds of supporters, pledged his support to the UNF, endorsing the presidential candidacy of Rtd. Gen. Sarath Fonseka. They met General Fonseka at his office and proclaimed that his victory is a victory for the country.
