No Birth No Death

Swami in His song ‘Love is my Form’ says No Birth; No Death for those who Love. Samadhi is the more appropriate description of such souls when their current physical form ceases to function. The war heroes who believed they were fighting for their country and/or for Independence also attain Samadhi when their bodies cease functioning. Hence we celebrate Anzac day, to remember, reinforce and strengthen our own investments in Independence/Freedom, through these war heroes.

(April 26, Melbourne, Sri Lanka Guardian) We Australians honor war heroes today which is Anzac Day as well as Easter Monday. Hindus would from now on honor this Easter period along with Christians due to Samadhi (Resting in Peace /Nirvaana / Bliss) of Swami Sathya Sai Baba (Swami) on Easter Sunday. To me, this confirms Swami’s message that when we realize the divinity within ourselves, there is No Birth nor Death. Easter Sunday is about this very message. Jodi a white Australian, who gave me the big picture of Swami, during my legal battles against the University of NSW, often said that to her, Easter was a message confirming rebirth.

Swami is a Hero of all sorts – King of Kings. His empire is reported to expressly cover 178 countries including Australia and it was all done from Zero Base. I physically saw Swami soon after the end of Sri Lankan Battle of Vanni in May 2009. I witnessed there at Puttaparthi, the most humble submissions by fellow human beings to Swami. I have not witnessed such humility in man towards another human form - anywhere else. Puttaparthi confirmed to me that it is possible and is really happening during our current times. I believe that it is my own humility towards others who Love and uphold Truth - that earned me the opportunity to witness this at Puttaparthi.

Swami’s real political leadership is confirmed by the following report in Tamil Daily News “A host of national and State leaders including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Vice-President Hamid Ansari, BJP leader L.K. Advani and several Governors and Chief Ministers condoled the death of Sai Baba.

A steady stream of leaders including Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, BJP president Nitin Gadkari, Punjab Governor Shivraj Patil, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan, Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu and Praja Rajyam president K. Chiranjeevi reached Puttaparthi to pay their respects.”

Insiders do not need proof. Outsiders who genuinely seek would not wait for objective proof but would know through insiders. That is also the message regarding Birth and Death. Birth and Death are for facts and not for wisdom. To me, this is also the message in regards to the war issue in Sri Lanka. We need to honor all war heroes in Sri Lanka at least on these special occasions. That would be far more powerful than any express reconciliation.

Knowing our inner-selves helps us to lose consciousness of benefits and therefore costs. I was acutely conscious of my investments in Australian Administrative Service which at the higher levels of management failed to return my investments especially through the University of NSW. To the extent I saw that management as ‘them’ I felt that it was a loss. That picture caused me much pain and I started withdrawing from that environment. But Swami helped me lose consciousness of all others through the manifestation of Holy Powder on the day the Auditor General produced his report in the Sydney Morning Herald, confirming my observations on the University system. To me, that is not different to us honoring Sri Lankan war heroes on Anzac day. Where the substance is stronger than the form, we start losing consciousness of death and birth/wins and losses and gradually place and time restrictions. We then become the losers as well as winners; Christians as well as Hindus on Easter Sunday. To me, yesterday was Good Friday as well as Easter Sunday merging Jesus and Sai Baba as One. This merger will protect one through the investments in the other if at least One leader is a common bridge. Those who show return for our investments are our real family. To me, the investments in the University of NSW was returned through University of Technology Sydney and University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. When we live in our Truth we recognize the returns that have ‘happened’. Hence ‘Knock and it shall be opened’.

Through Swami’s tireless work from that remote corner in India, those who have faith in Truth / Love, would fear no death and hence no terrorism.

As per the above mentioned report in Tamil Daily News ‘Although Sathya Sai Baba breathed his last at 7.40 a.m. at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, the hospital did not officially break the news till 10.15 a.m. However, well before that, rumours of the death swept through Puttaparthi, for all practical purposes turning it into a town under curfew. By 8.30 a.m., shops had downed shutters and roadside eateries closed down. Vehicle movement on the narrow bylanes was stopped and police personnel took position.’

These details through various media are for official purposes. To those of us with deep faith – the messages come from within – as indicated above. I myself wrote about Swami in my Easter message as follows:

‘I mention Easter because to me the way Land influences us, time also does. The same event is experienced differently at different times due to our mental environments which are influenced by place and time. I have been reading reports of Sri Sathya Sai Baba's physical health, knowing it is important for those physically close to Swami. For myself, Swami came to me when I was in deep need and hence Swami is God. This means I would not be able to work out any deeper reason as to why Swami is in hospital but identify with the experience of others physically close to Swami, through my own experiences when my close family was hospitalized. This has helped me comfort many devotees. Today, when seeking to verify the source of the article 'Serious flaws in Ban Ki-moon panel report' published in Sri Lanka Guardian, I came across in the 'Sunday Island' a report entitled 'No sign of change in Sai Baba's condition'. I was not particularly praying for change one way or the other. I have been praying to Swami to help me uphold the values He has helped us see within ourselves. This is especially significant during this Holy period during which Christ Resurrected Himself. My heart goes out to those who have lived physically close to Swami. But for myself, I need to strengthen more than ever before, my identification with the values that Swami has been working tirelessly to share with us - primarily that we are all God. Realizing this Divinity within is the best return I believe I could deliver for what I myself have received from Swami. One form through which this value could be described is Independence............................................................I conclude that they lacked the confidence to officially do what they are demanding of the UN Secretary General. We are all UN Secretary Generals to the extent of our real belief in the values upheld by that position. That to me is the real value of Easter - as I learned from Swami Sai Baba.’

To outsiders, the fact that I wrote this without hearing facts officially or unofficially, may seem like coincidence. To me, tt is not coincidence because of my feelings in the issue of Independence. Swami has helped me realize that, Love and Truth are the real paths to Independence. We need no knowledge; no facts to Love. If we seek through facts and knowledge we need to use them to uphold our own Truth for us to realize the goal of Independence.

To me, a big part of Swami’s mission has been to improve Public Service through various combinations of Truth and Love – so we are the Government and we are the People. Puttaparthi is the best example known to me of such Good Governance. This was confirmed during my stay there –as an independent person without portfolio. Every part of Puttaparthi confirmed the values that we are trying to uphold at the global level through organizations such as the UN. After the Puttaparthi experience, the little interest I had in UN structures did not seem to exist. Puttaparthi became my UN and more. Each time we honor those Universal values of Truth and Love, we enshrine them in our hearts and minds. When I read in Sri Lanka Guardian, the article ‘Police foil a new bomb plot in Jakarta’ by Mr. B. Raman with insider feelings in Indian Public Administration, I paid special attention to details – such as that it was a new formation of rebels – from the University community. To me it was no coincidence that this message was published on the same day Swami attained Samadhi. To the extent we feel like ‘family’ we prevent risks before they surface. The Police in us would diffuse the terrorists in others. During Holy periods the strength of this Power is much stronger. Hence No Birth No Death for those living close to their Souls. Swami’s previous form – Shridi Baba was recognized to have had Muslim connections. Hence yesterday, Christians, Muslims and Hindus merged together in prayers to diffuse consciousness of terrorism and anti-terrorism.

Thank you Deeply Swami for showing us the Way – Your Life is Our Message.
