(August 03, Balochistan , Sri Lanka Guardian) Two children were killed in an explosion near Fruit Market in Western Bypass, an outskirt area of Quetta on Monday (Aug. 01).
A local police officer claimed that explosive materials were placed in a shopping bag that the children were carrying which later exploded and killed both of them on the spot. The victims have been identified as Hameed-ullah S/O Qadir Baksh Marri and Qadir Bakash S/O Peerhan Marri both belong to the Marri tribe.
Meanwhile Baloch National Voice has said that 9 years old Hameedullah and 11 years old Qadir Baksh were passing near a heap of rubbish when they spotted the explosives and try picking it up but it exploded. The Baloch National Voice has said that putting explosives materials in a place where Baloch children usually go was the continuation of state’s anti Baloch policies. The statement of BNV said that Raisani Brothers (Chief Minister Balochistan Aslam Raisani and his brothers) were behind the attack, however, they cannot deter Baloch freedom struggle through such acts.
The BNV said that when the relatives went to collect the bodies of their children, the police have arrested them and shifted to an unknown location. “The arrest of relatives of the victims proves that this attack was preplanned and part of government its agents’ conspiracy”. The children bodies were later handed to hires but six people arrested from New Kahan are still missing. The deceased have been buried at “Martyrs of Balochistan Graveyard” in New Kahan Quetta with full National pride and honor.
The statement further said “from last several years the state and its security agencies are using their paid agents (among Baloch) for the genocide of innocent Baloch people. The state sponsored death squad’s and some paper Organisations are involved in mass killings of innocent Baloch; Raisani brothers are also head of one such disgraceful group. The recent attack in Hazar Ganji and murder of two innocent children is the work of this brutal group. They are massacring innocent Baloch in order to please their masters but we want to tell them they may temporarily destroy Baloch houses and kill innocent people with the help of their Masters in Islamabad but they will fail to stop the flood of National Liberation movement. Those who dance to the music of Baloch enemy have been exposed to Baloch Nation; the killing of Baloch students, intellectuals, under-custody killing of Baloch youth and military operations in several places of Balochistan are all being carried out with the help and collaboration of these the paper Organisations of military death squads. We want to make it clear to these stooges of the state that the bombs, tanks, prisons, under-custody killings, Chemical weapons, lethal weapons and fighter jets of their master could not stop the caravan of Baloch liberation movement; hence their brutal acts also cannot effect the movement”. At the end the BNV urged the International Community to immediately take notice of the genocide of Baloch people by Pakistan.
Body of missing person found: Another decomposed body was found from Beto Landi area of Naushki on Monday, police said. According to the police they recovered the body in Beto Landi area of Naushki, some passerby spotted the bodies and informed the police. Police rushed to the spot. The body was shifted to the Nearby Hospital where he was identified as Hasmatullah s/o Abdul Majeed resident of Killi Qadirabad of Naushki. “Hasmatullah went missing in 21 April from Naushki” sources said. The body was handed over to his relatives for burial after autopsy.
