(April 17, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Sri Lanka AF fighter jets the F-7 bombers kill one child this morning in Mullathivu district.Around 6.30am this morning, four Sri Lanka’s F-7 bombers bombed a civilian settlement in Punnainiraviyaddi in Visuvamadhu in the Mullaithivu district. One child was instantly killed and several civilian huts houses destroyed. Ansilasthian Diluxana, a fifteen year old student of Piramanthanaru MV School, was killed as she was completing her morning chores before going to school.
Meanwhile, around 11.30am on yesterday SLAF F-7 fighter jets bombed the Alampil coastal village in the Mullaithivu district destroying the roofs of ten houses. Luckily no one was hurt.
Bus travelers scatter in panic as shells fall around them on Tuesday
Artillery fire from the Kilali military camp fell and exploded near a bus as it was traveling through the Thambirai village two Kilimteres from Poonahari. Almost 150 passengers in the bus screamed in panic and jumped off the bus to seek shelter in the nearby Palmyrah plantation.
The bus traveling from Mullaithivu to Madhu was subjected to this artillery fire as it traveled through the Thambirai village.
Another bus traveling from Valaippadu in Mannar towards Kilinochchi town also was subjected to similar fate as it approached the 4th Milepost near Poonahari.
More than 40 shells fell around this area destroying many trees. Luckily no one was hurt.

it is very very sad to see this picture, we are not approving any kind of killings to take place in our country,we have kids too. but i must tell you one thing.did you see,how many kids they [LTTE] sent as fodder to the killing field of war,how many school children kidnapping from schools in east and north.[as a fomer tamil school's teacher, i know that].how many toddlers they kill at Kebilitygollewa bus bombing.pls dont be so patial. and bias.we know how it hurt us.
I was shocked to hear about the Ariel bombardment and killing of innocent civilias in Sri Lanka.
The Govt. of Sri Lanka must take the full blame and responsibility of the Killing of 65 innocent children below the age of 14 at the chencholai home for children in Mullaitivu.
It was very sad that the International Community is not condemning these brutal acts of the
SRI LANKAN GOVT.

This is again a ploy by the tigers to do another carnage in Colombo and other parts of the country. So called "civilian" deaths are always followed by the carnages in the South of the country. This is again probably a child soldier

SRI LANKA IS THE ONLY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD THAT KILLS THEIR OWN CITIZENS, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN BY ARIEL BOMBARDMENTS AND LATER CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE KILLED TIGER TERRORISTS.
This is absolute BS. This was not an civillian settlement. As sad as it is for a child to have been killed, the blame should go to the LTTE who were using her as a child soldier.
