Mirihana police has received 1500 complaints in a day. Security officials, government servants and many people who had invested their savings have been deceived. They have lost all their money.

An old disable person from Kiriyanthala area who deposited the money he received as EPF has lost every thing. He has lost all his savings all his life.

This incident has taken place in the Mirihana area. 4000 people, who had invested their moneys, have been defrauded. They have now lodged complaints at the Mirihana police station. It is said that the suspect had swindled 500 croers of rupees. The police are looking for him. They have sought the assistance of the Interpol to apprehend the culprit.

Innocent people are cheated and defrauded by clever swindlers. It is the duty of the government to ensure that such incidents do not occur again and people must be vigilant about these swindlers!
