Tamilnet feature: Tiger Terror International has come of age

We are about to become branded as the Paraiyas of Global Terrorism

By Satchi Sithananthan from Frankfurt

(April 10, Frankfurt, Sri Lanka Guardian) According to a Tamilnet feature “In the name of its civilization IC is answerable” Thursday, 09 April 2009, the final paragraph states as follows:

“In UK, where carrying the Tamil national flag is not permitted, police personal were seen advising the demonstrators to give the flags to children under 16, so that they can refrain themselves from taking action. That is the public understanding and sympathy coming even from the police personal. But when are their governments going to translate that in action is the question.”

This feature is by Opinion Columnist Chivanadi

A particularly mischievous and misleading feature, this writer hails the shift of Tiger Terrorism in Sri Lanka on to the international stage building it on the global underworld network it has already set up. Chivandi talks about the uprising of the Diaspora youth in the western world, demanding solution to the plight of their kith and kin at their home country.

Chivandi states: “The spontaneous youth demonstrations that started in London, Paris and Oslo have fast picked up in several other countries across the world. Teenagers and even kids with their parents are seen enthusiastically participating in these non-stop demonstrations.”

Chivandi goes on to claim that the older generation of Tamils who raised eyebrows at the outcome of the youth initiative that defied community elders and formalities of seeking government permission etc, has subsequently started appreciating the spontaneous spirit in the youth in taking up community responsibility at a time of emergency.

In other words Chivandi states that these demonstrations that are being held in countries to people who really fled from Tiger terror need not even ask permission to hold demonstrations creating a public nuisance and arrogant defiance. Do we not see something sinister and familiar here reminiscent of the days of lamp post killing, extortion and Tiger terror.

Evidently Chivandi advocates in the Tamil Diaspora countries some deadly happenings in China. He/she says: “Whatever one may say about the aims and outcome of the Cultural Revolution of China, Mao had made a point at that time in stressing the need of the younger generation seeing a revolution of its own. It is the urban culture of today that designates teenagers as kids. All the international legislations in this respect are actually made by urban cultures for the sake of urban cultures.”

Chivandi talks about the current revolution and thereby what is evidently meant is what the pro-LTTE Diaspora is doing in the streets of London, Oslo, Copenhagen, Toronto and Paris. It is a feature meant to whip up the Tamil youth especially those attending universities in these countries.
This is exactly what the Tiger terrorists did in Sri Lanka infiltrating the tuition centers in the north that had grown like mushrooms during the 1970s.

Chivandi states: “It is not unnatural to see the younger generation coming forward whenever a society is in stress. The stress gives them the necessary maturity. The current uprising, in a way, was a result of the youth frustration in the passive dealings of their elders with governments that perpetrated and continue to abet a brutal war against their people in the home country, after designating any supporter of the oppressed party as a ‘terrorist’.

“The large presence of women and young girls was another noteworthy feature. Many of them felt that it was a great relief for them to participate in the demonstration than facing the trauma alone at home. We used to cry at funerals. We are here to collectively cry for the mass massacres of our blood relatives and demand justice, said the participants of the Paris demonstration.”

When Chivandi talks about governments, it has nothing to do with the Government of Sri Lanka. It has everything to do with the Governments of Canada, United Kingdom, France, Norway and that very surprisingly too, Denmark and other countries too.

Having taken control of the young people Prabhakaran hijacked the Tamil community in Sri Lanka on to the path of brutal terrorism and now on the international stage, the same young people are being urged to graduate to the next stage, International Terrorism.

Hey: You ARE already the pariahs of global terrorism.

Tamil diaspora, in a panic-stricken attempt to save the psychopathic maniac prabhakaran are hell-bent on spreading blatant lies. Their uncivilized, animal-like behavior will earn them disrespect in the highest order and inform the world that Tamils are sowing the seeds of terrorism ALL OVER THE WORLD.

Enjoy!!!

The Tiger simpathysers in the Diaspora are using children and politicizing them. This is no different from recruiting child soldiers. The next stage will be to organize various groups of "pulip padai" which will begin to fight with each other for supremacy. The most ruthless of them will emerge as the leader who will dominate the youth gangs. They are repeating in their host countries, the madness they created in Sri Lanka that took so many Tamil and Sinhala lives.
